First Chords for Guitar

A sheet with the twenty most commonly used chords for Guitar! All Fretsmaster chord charts assume that you are holding the neck of your guitar in your left hand, and the body of your guitar with your right hand. The chart is viewed with the guitar neck pointing straight up.  The black dots represent your fingertips.  The numbers underneath are your left hand finger numbers, starting with the index or pointer finger (1), and ending with the baby finger, or pinky (4).  The top line represents the nut, where the strings cross over to connect to the tuning machines.   The horizontal lines that follow represent the frets, beginning with the first fret and descending.  The vertical lines represent the strings, with the sixth string, (the string closest to your face) on the left and the first string (the string closest to the floor) at the far right.
