This chord is B7, an example of the detailing you find in "48 Commonly Used Chords". The Nut of the guitar, where the strings cross over to the tuners at the end of the neck, is on the left, toward the right is toward the bridge and sound board. Your finger positions are colored and numbered: Red for first left hand finger (index) Green for second (middle) Blue for third (ring) Pink for fourth (pinky). The sixth string is closest to your face and is the thickest string, and is the lowest line of the chart; the first string is the string farthest away from you (closest to the ground) and is the skinniest string. The vertical frets are numbered, left to right with the nut being "0" and first and second frets being utilized in this B7 Chord. First finger presses down just to the left of the first fret, fourth string; second, third, and fourth fingers are each pressing down just to the left of the second fret, on the fifth, third, and first strings respectively. The sixth string is not strummed or picked, thus it has an X on it indicating "don't play this string" Happy chording!!
