Our Desire For You

is that you be able to glean the information you need from this site to become a better instrumentalist and musician.  Our unique approach includes charts, graphs, TAB, music notation, MIDI, audio, and video. We hope that, by combining different methods of learning for different types of learners, we will aid you in the mastery of your fretted instrument, whether it be guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, or any other instrument with frets.

We incorporate as much information into each page of music as is possible using current methods.  Our sheet music and TAB files include midi renditions that you can hear on your PC - speed them up, slow them down, practice your music slowly and forcefully, and increase speed as your skills develop!  Let us know what you would like to see up here - we're presently posting our first 300 files - our own compositions, classical music, bluegrass, folk, and rock music played "in the style of" some of your favorite players!! Jazz, country, world music, blues!

The Musician

Thom Tollerson is a classically trained guitar player and has been teaching people just like you to play for some crazy number of years. The author of Fourteen Lessons in Guitar, Play Guitar Fast and Basic Guitar, Thom gave his first series of lessons to a beginner friend when he was 14 and a half, just four months after he started playing the guitar.  He's been teaching to those hungry and thirsty for guitar playing knowledge ever since.  Find out more about Thom at thom.tollerson.com, playguitarfast.com, guitarone.com, MySpace/thomtollerson, and MySpace/tollerson among other places, or just Google "Thom Tollerson".
